About me....I graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2005 with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education. I taught third grade for two and a half years and then resigned for a year. I am now back teaching sixth grade science here in Mobile, Alabama. I have always had a passion for teaching. I have come to realize that my students motivate me to become an even better teacher. I am always learning new things and ideas.

Project 14 How to Use a Smartboard

Amy Stork, Sherik Butler, and I did a presentation on how to use a Smartboard. What we did was we did the actual presentation in class. We wanted to present this in class so we could actually use the Smartboard as we presented. When it comes to a Smartboard teachers can really do things that are hands on with their students. There are games, talking calculator, hands on writing, typing. Students are able to actually come and touch and use the Smartboard themselves. This has the students actively engaged. Take a look!
